| Obsolete style limit switches can be difficult to set due to age and corrosion. Parts become worn and will not hold their setting accuracies. Replacement parts have to be custom machined. Individual gearboxes of the same size cannot be interchanged due to the fact there are as many as six different gear sets to drive the unit. | A direct bolt on upgrade includes a modern, off the shelf, limit switch assembly. The limit switch can be set very quickly and accurately. It does not require custom gearing in the main gearbox and has a proven long term record of dependability. This one upgrade is all that is necessary to replace any limit switch assembly on any Chapman motor operated valve. | |
